The unique feature of this most unusual watch is the front, see-through glass crystal that permits the owner to observe the inner workings of the totally mechanical movement and watch the balance wheel rotate back and forth. On a full windup, the watch will continue running for up to 48 hours. The case measures just under 2" diameter-horizontal, without the added length for the crown and bow. Pressing down on the crown opens the front cover for a total view of the bright and easy to read dial, minute, hour and sweep second hands. Pulling up on the crown one click stop permits the hands to be set accordingly. There are no batteries to be concerned with ... just like the pocket watches manufactured at the turn of the century.
